Dr. Dagi is distinguished scholar and professor at Queen’s University School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, in Belfast, Ireland. He also was senior lecturer for eight years in the Division of Health Sciences and Technology at MIT, where he contributed extensively to teaching courses and supervising master’s theses. He has been teaching in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine since 2011. Dr. Dagi formerly practiced as a neurosurgeon before visual problems forced him to retire from clinical work.

Ibrahim Diakite, PhD, is a graduate of the University of Texas at Arlington, where he wrote his dissertation in mathematics on “Effects of Discrete Time Delays and Parameters Variation on Dynamical Systems.”
