Tran Thi Uyen Phuong is a Visiting Postgraduate Research Fellow from Vietnam. She received her Master’s degree in medical and clinical psychology. Currently, she provides assistance in conducting, developing curriculum materials in Western and Vietnamese medical ethics for the medical schools in Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC); researching Vietnamese thinking on physician responsibility and the patient-physician relationship; and writing scholarly papers on Vietnamese medical ethical practice.
Frances Glessner Lee Professor of Legal Medicine, Professor of Anaesthesia (Pediatrics); Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine
Dr. Robert Truog is professor of medical ethics, anaesthesiology & pediatrics at Harvard Medical School and a senior associate in Critical Care Medicine at Boston Children’s Hospital. Dr. Truog received his medical degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is board certified in the practices of pediatrics, anesthesiology, and pediatric critical care medicine. He also holds a master’s degree in philosophy from Brown University and an honorary master of arts from Harvard University.
