Dr. Eisenberg remains actively involved in human rights work through Physicians for Human Rights (PHR), which she co-founded. She was the dean of students of MIT (the first woman to hold that position at MIT), then dean of student affairs at Harvard Medical School (1978–1990). In addition to mentoring faculty in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, she is honorary psychiatrist with the Massachusetts General Hospital.
Andrew L. Ellner, MD, is an associate physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital and a primary care physician at the Phyllis Jen Center for Primary Care. Previously he served as assistant medical director of the Jen Center. He is also co-director of the Harvard Center for Primary Care.
