Rebecca Weintraub, MD, is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, associate physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital, and on the faculty of the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. She serves as the associate director of the Harvard Global Health Institute and faculty director of the Global Health Delivery Project at Harvard University. Dr. Weintraub is a practicing internist at Brigham and Women's Hospital.

Mitchell Weiss is a health social scientist at the Swiss Tropical and Public Health Institute, and a professor at the University of Basel. He has a faculty appointment as lecturer in the HMS Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. His research group has developed an approach to cultural epidemiology that integrates quantitative and qualitative research methods for cultural psychiatry and studies of social and cultural features of suicide, tuberculosis, malaria, leprosy and other neglected tropical diseases.
