Russell S. Phillips, M.D., is director of the Center for Primary Care and the William Applebaum Professor of Medicine and professor of Global Health and Social Medicine. He is a devoted primary care general internist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) where he cares for more than 250 patients, many of whom he has known for more than 20 years.
Dr. Podolsky is Professor of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a primary care physician at Massachusetts General Hospital. Since 2006, he has served as the director of the Center for the History of Medicine based at the Countway Medical Library.
Dr. Podolsky graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College with a bachelor's degree in history and science. He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Medical School.
Giuseppe Raviola is an assistant professor of psychiatry and of global health and social medicine at Harvard Medical School and director of the Psychiatry Quality Program in the Department of Psychiatry at Children’s Hospital Boston (BCH). A board-certified adult and child/adolescent psychiatrist, at BCH he provides oversight of the Department’s patient safety, quality, and outcomes initiatives, and works with various departmental services to assess and improve the quality of patient care provided.
