Dr Dale Barnhart is an epidemiologist whose research focuses on program implementation and evaluation in low-income settings. She is a post-doctoral research fellow at Harvard Medical School and has lived full-time in Rwanda since 2019. In Rwanda, she is embedded as a researcher with the NGO Partners In Health/Inshuti Mu Buzima. where she conducts research related to HIV and viral hepatitis and promotes global health research equity by training and mentoring Rwandan researchers. Dale also provides methodologic leadership to the PIH Cross-Site COVID-19 Cohort Research Network, which coordinates research across Partners In Health sites located in 8 countries.
