Madeleine Carroll received her undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University and went on to receive her MD from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University. Presently, she is a surgical resident at Yale New Haven Hospital. Her global surgery research interests include trauma systems development, violence and injury prevention, and pediatric surgery capacity building.
