Neil Gupta, MD is assistant professor, Harvard Medical School, a Program in Global Noncommunicable Disease and Social Change affiliate at the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine, associate physician, Division of Global Health Equity, Brigham and Women's Hospital, and policy director, NCD Synergies, Partners In Health. Dr. Gupta's research focus is on the treatment outcomes of chronic hepatitis C infection in Rwanda. Through the Simplifying Hepatitis C Antiviral Therapy for Elsewhere in the Developing World(SHARED) study, Dr. Gupta’s team is evaluating the safety and efficacy of direct-acting antiviral (DAA) treatment in Rwanda.
