Daniel Palazuelos, MD, MPH, is an Associate Physician in the Department of Medicine, Assistant Director of the Hiatt Global Health Equity Residency in the Division of Global Health Equity, and a Clinician-Educator Hospitalist at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Palazuelos also serves as the Cannon Society Global Health Teaching Fellow at Harvard Medical School, as the Senior Health and Policy Advisor for Community Health Systems at Partners In Health, and as the Co-founder/Chief Strategist of Compañeros En Salud - México (PIH-Mexico).

Dr. Ruth Peters is a visiting research fellow in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer at the Athena Institute, VU University Amsterdam. Her works seeks to understand and address health-related stigma. Her main research interests are: health-related stigma, inclusion, intersectionality, leprosy, disability, mental illness, participatory methods, mixed-methods and transdisciplinary research.

Russell S. Phillips, M.D., is director of the Center for Primary Care and the William Applebaum Professor of Medicine and professor of Global Health and Social Medicine. He is a devoted primary care general internist at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) where he cares for more than 250 patients, many of whom he has known for more than 20 years.
