Laura Bond, PhD, MA

Research Fellow in Global Health and Social Medicine

Laura Bond, PhD, MA, is a research fellow at the Mental Health for All Lab. Laura's research focuses broadly on implementation science and mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) programming in underserved communities. Laura is interested in approaches for measuring and monitoring the quality of delivery, training and equipping nonspecialist providers, and integrating MHPSS programming into ongoing community service delivery platforms. Laura received her PhD from the Boston College School of Social Work, where she worked in the Research Program for Children and Adversity managing and supporting projects in Sierra Leone and Rwanda, and worked as a consultant for Sesame Workshop. Prior to her PhD, Laura worked for Catholic Relief Services managing education, child protection, and emergency response programs in Lesotho, Afghanistan, India, and Nigeria. She received her MA from American University's School of International Service.
