Symposium on Rwanda Human Resources for Health

Symposium on Rwanda Human Resources for Health Program graphicLaunched in August 2012, the Rwanda Human Resources for Health Program (HRH Program) aims to expand the number, diversity, and competencies of the health workforce in Rwanda. The HRH Program includes faculty from 26 U.S. academic institutions, including Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School, and builds on a longstanding partnership between eight Harvard–affiliated institutions and the Rwandan Ministry of Health.

The June 10, 2016 symposium, focused on the contributions of the Harvard-affilitated institutions and the faculty deployed to Rwanda through the HRH Program. Speakers discussed the bilateral benefits of their participation in this initiative.
