Dr. Tarver is a former resident in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital and is the lead investigator on the research study entitled: Evaluating the effectiveness of a mobile app for students seeking mental health care at Harvard University Health Services. The study is funded by The Pershing Square Fund for Research on the Foundations of Human Behavior. Dr. Tarver wrote the grant under the submission of Prof. Vikram Patel and the grant is being held in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine. Dr. Tarver is currently based at the University of California Irvine, where she is Medical Director for the Adolescent Partial Hospital Program and Intensive Outpatient Program and is Health Sciences Assistant Professor.
