Emilie Wagner, MBA

Advisor and lecturer for Harvard HealthTech fellowship, Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care

Emilie Wagner teaches healthcare courses rooted in design thinking (Harvard Medical School, Stanford d.school) and consults for healthcare organizations. As a healthcare strategy consultant, she tackles challenges using design thinking.

From large academic hospitals, such as Stanford Health Care, to small community hospitals, Emilie focuses on improving the patient experience. In past projects, she has developed an urgent care strategy, reimagined the pre-visit patient experience, created a CRM prototype to deliver a more connected patient experience, and redesigned the pre-natal and L+D experience. She also leads design thinking training workshops to teach healthcare teams and organizations to be more customer-centered.

Prior to diving deep into healthcare, Emilie created a more customer-centric experience for a solar company, worked with Google to design the consumer purchase experience for a new product, re-imagined the customer experience for retailers, and built new brand strategies for technology companies.
