What is the cost of the program?
The Media and Medicine certificate of participation program tuition is $6,000. Admitted applicants who accept a place in the Media and Medicine Certificate of Completion program will receive instructions on submitting program fees.

Is there any scholarship funding for the certificate program?
At this time, we are not able to offer scholarship funding for the certificate program.

Who should apply to the program?
The Media and Medicine Certificate Program is open to all passionate learners committed to improving health delivery across the globe. This course is designed for physicians, nurses, and other health care providers on the front lines who desire to promote health through a range of media options. The certificate program is also geared toward those who share similar interests and goals, such as health journalists, bioethicists, anyone who works in the health care industry (such as administrators, pharmacists, researchers, and health educators) are welcome to apply.

Do I need to have a medical background to apply to the certificate program?
No, a medical background is not required for participation in the Media and Medicine Certificate Program. We welcome people from all backgrounds with a passion for healthcare to apply to and participate in our classes.

Do participants need to be present in real time for all of the program?
Due to schedules and time zone differences, faculty of the certificate program understand that full "real-time" or synchronous participation in the intensive first week or future workshops may not be possible. All sessions will be recorded and made available to participants to review when they are able to do so.
