Jonathan Adler, PhD
Jonathan Adler is a Professor of Psychology at Olin College of Engineering and a Senior Lecturer at Harvard Medical School. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Personality and Social Psychology Review, the top-ranked journal in those subfields, and Chief Academic Officer at Health Story Collaborative (HSC), a non-profit organization aimed at centering personal stories in the healthcare ecosystem. Dr. Adler’s research focuses on the role of personal narrative in constituting and shaping our identity and supporting our psychological well-being. The New York Times, National Public Radio, The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, The Boston Globe, Scientific American, and many others have covered his research. In addition to his research, Dr. Adler is a theater director and playwright. His play, Reverse Transcription (co-written with Jim Petosa), premiered Off-Broadway last summer at The Atlantic Theater Company’s Stage Two, produced by PTP/NYC.
