Patrick Skerrett
Patrick Skerrett is editor of First Opinion, and works with experts from around the world to provide context and perspective for the day's news. He was previously executive editor for Harvard Health Publications, the consumer publishing division of Harvard Medical School. He is the co-author of “Eat, Drink, and Be Healthy: The Harvard Medical School Guide to Healthy Eating” and other books. He has also worked as a high school science teacher and as a biologist studying fruit-eating bats. Pat earned a biology degree from Northwestern University and a master's in biology from Washington University in St. Louis.
