Dawn was born in Malaysia and grew up in Borneo. She holds an MBBS and a Masters of Research (Cancer) from Newcastle University, where she studied sarcopenia in gynecological malignancies. After medical school, she worked as a clinical doctor in Wales. Her research interests focus on addressing disparities in women's health, particularly in gynecological cancer care. She is committed to strengthening health systems and improving health outcomes for women and their families worldwide.
