Emad was born and raised in New Jersey, and is currently a General Surgery resident at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. He received his MD from the Uniformed Services University. Emad will be focusing on military-civilian trauma systems collaboration and disaster response, with an interest in antiracism and medicine and reducing the environmental impact of healthcare.
