Geoffrey Anderson, M.D.

Assistant Professor of Surgery

Geoffrey Anderson is a trauma surgeon at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. He did his training at the Massachusetts General Hospital and LA County Hospital. He is currently an associate program director for the Program in Global Surgery and Social Change and faculty at the Center for Surgery and Public Health. Geoff is the director of TIGER (Trauma, Implementation science, Global surgery, and Equity Research) Lab. Geoff is also a major in the United States Air Force Reserves where he is the flight commander of a Critical Care Air Transport Team. He spends part of each year at the University of Global Health Equity in Rwanda where he is visiting faculty.

Dr. Anderson’s clinical and research interests include global surgery, the social determinants of traumatic diseases, implementation science and surgical education.
