Qi Tan, MD, PhD, Research Fellow, works with Megan Murray on identifying human and microbial determinants of poor treatment outcomes for TB and evaluating tools designed to improve these outcomes. Qi comes to us from Jiangsu Province Hospital, the main teaching hospital of Nanjing Medical University, a top medical school of China. At Jiangsu Hospital, Qi co-led the inpatient pulmonary care team and trained residents in pulmonary and critical care medicine. She was previously a fellow with us for one year following a year at UMass Medical Center, where she studied relationships between immunology and TB.
