Rebecca Weintraub, MD is an assistant professor in the Department of Global Health and Social Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an associate physician in the Division of Global Health Equity at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Dr. Weintraub serves as the Faculty Director of the Global Health Delivery Project at Harvard University and Better Evidence at Ariadne Labs. 

Dr. Weintraub investigates implementation bottlenecks and positive exemplars in health delivery. In 2008, she launched the Cases in Global Health Delivery, an award winning collection of 45+ case studies with Harvard Business Publishing. The cases are taught at 1000+ schools of medicine, public health, and business. Rebecca co-leads the Global Health Delivery Intensive program,  jointly offered by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Harvard Medical School. The program is a core component of the HMS Masters' in Global Health Delivery and has trained professionals from over 40 countries in epidemiology, strategy and management practices. 

Dr. Weintraub launched the Better Evidence Program at Ariadne Labs, to design, test and scale evidence based digital tools. Currently, Better Evidence engages 30,000 front line providers in 150+ countries and 120+ medical schools and clinical sites. 

Leveraging a decade of research on vaccine delivery, Dr. Weintraub expanded her portfolio to equip decision makers allocating and distributing COVID-19 vaccines. Dr. Weintraub advises State immunization leaders, the Health and Human Services National Vaccine Advisory Committee and serves on the United States Pharmacopeia Health Equity committee.

Her publications have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, Health Affairs and Harvard Business Review and her work has been cited by media outlets including New York Times, BBC, Netflix and NPR.

Rebecca was named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Rebecca is a Health Innovator fellow of the Aspen Global Leadership Network. Dr. Weintraub graduated from Yale University, Stanford School of Medicine, and completed her medical training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
