Yashika Parashar, MBBS MMSc, is a Research Assistant in the Harvard Medical School Department of Global Health and Social Medicine.
Yashika is interested in further pursuing clinical research on safety and efficacy trials. With her background in oncology research and patient care, she is interested in understanding the impact of cancer on the mental health of patients and their families.
Yashika is a part of the OptimizeD study, that aims to optimize the treatment for depression among primary care patients in India.
Yashika is a licensed physician from North Eastern Indira Gandhi Regional Institute of Health and Medical Sciences and holds a Master of Medical Sciences in Clinical Investigation from Harvard Medical School. As part of her graduate studies, she has also worked at the Sethi Lab, Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
